THE KINGS COURT TEENS CHURCH stems from our mother-in-Israel, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye’s passion for impacting teenagers by means of teaching of the Word, imparting Christian values, praying, supervising and cultivating a suitable environment for innovation and flexibility about the study of God’s word and promoting good Christian ethics. This passion is led by the wife of the Pastor in charge of The Kings Court, our dear Pastor Mrs. Ngozi Akabueze. Our teaching model derives primarily from rich resource materials – The Zeal and The Holy Bible.
TKC Teens Church is open to any child turning thirteen (13) during the time of admission and no older than nineteen (19) years.
The Teens Church comprises a team of dedicated teachers who are passionate and knowledgeable, and united in their commitment to loving and encouraging good morals amongst the teenagers. This is through engaging them in a variety of activities with great fun, excellent social, educational, and spiritual values with the goal of equipping them as ambassadors of Jesus Christ and builders of homes and the society.
The team holds monthly preparatory and prayer sessions in addition to a weekly intercessory prayer, and develop lesson plans in line with the Holy Bible and the Zeal teaching manual. To further prepare the teenagers for the future and address practical issues of critical importance to the teenagers, the team organizes annual exciting events such as Summer programmes, Conferences, Parents Forum, Teens Summit, Quiz Competition and interesting presentations in TKC Adult church; these events are well attended with recounting testimonies.
